A favorite for those exploring Hagerman, Idaho, located along the Thousand Springs Scenic Byway (Route 30), this visitor center was opened in the spring of 2022.  Home to fossils, replicas and displays from the Hagerman Fossil Bed National Monument this small, yet very informative facility is a fun stop for all ages.  With everything from "Paleo Patio", an hands-on presentation from one of the visitor center's National Park Guides to a life-size replica of the famous Hagerman Horse who lived in this area dating back over 5 million years and is one of the oldest fossils ever found in the Equus genus.  ​
